A reference guide fellows can keep with them

Our Reference Guide for Field Epidemiologists is a free, online open educational resource, published in collaboration with the University of Newcastle Library. It provides clear definitions and worked examples of key field epidemiology concepts — public health surveillance, outbreak investigation and communicable disease control among them. It was developed specifically for the PNG and Solomon Islands FETPs, but is general enough to support any intermediate-level field epidemiology program globally.
